This is an easy five-star rating if you factor in the price and what you get. The quality exceeded my expectations. It’s solid. As I assembled the E95 Elliptical, I noticed everything was made of high-grade materials and manufactured to high quality tolerances. Assembly is a bit of a process. I’m very handy and it took a few hours. Nothing terribly difficult, there’s just a lot of steps. However, the SOLE folks do everything they can to make it easy—if you follow the instructional video on YouTube, you will be fine. The package comes with all the tools you will need for assembly, but I would recommend using a good-quality screwdriver and socket wrench. The nice thing about assembling it yourself is you will know for sure everything is put together correctly. Once assembled, the unit is steady and easily bears my 230-pound frame. I’ve done several 40-minute workouts, and the E95 is smooth, stable, and quiet. The control console seems to be a large Android tablet adapted to the elliptical. Login and setup is intuitive and the programming offers numerous workout options as well as access to video training sessions, Netflix, YouTube, Audible, and so on. One tip: log into your home wifi before doing the rest of the setup. Is it a commercial-grade elliptical? No. But it cost half the price and, speaking from 20 years experience using Precore ellipticals at my gym, the SOLE E95 is more than adequate for any home gym. You will never put the kind of hours on your home elliptical that get put on equipment at a busy gym. My sense is that with basic maintenance, the E95 will last as long as you care to use it.

Well Built
2010 Sole E95 Elliptical. Has 5,450 miles. The Magnetic Brake Flywheel bearing wore out. Company replaced the entire flywheel within a week under warranty. I replaced the belt when the new flywheel was installed. Very well built elliptical. Should be good to go for another 5,000 miles.
