I paid the extra to have it shipped, moved inside, and put together. Instead, it was dropped off outside our garage door. Called support and they said they'd get someone to come out and set it up, but it's been almost a week and didn't get a call. They did refund the shipping charge, but I still had to move it inside and set it up myself, no easy task for a senior to manage moving something that heavy. Buyer beware.

Excellent, Well Built Elliptical
I purchased this from Dick’s Sporting Goods land had it shipped to me from the store with professional assembly. The delivery and assembly went well with no complications. The elliptical is solid and performing very well. The only weak points are that the internal speaker is fairly weak and the internal fan is very weak. I bought a little fan to attach to the machine and mostly use my iPad to attach on top to view movies, etc. with a Bluetooth speaker. Overall, it’s an excellent and solid elliptical.

Won’t Start After Two Uses
We used it two times and the screen is black. It won’t start up. Double checked everything. The machine is very well built and I like how it works if we can only get it to start up. The company is closed for multiple days on the holiday so can’t get help.

Solid, Stable, Excellent Quality, Great Price
This is an easy five-star rating if you factor in the price and what you get. The quality exceeded my expectations. It’s solid. As I assembled the E95 Elliptical, I noticed everything was made of high-grade materials and manufactured to high quality tolerances. Assembly is a bit of a process. I’m very handy and it took a few hours. Nothing terribly difficult, there’s just a lot of steps. However, the SOLE folks do everything they can to make it easy—if you follow the instructional video on YouTube, you will be fine. The package comes with all the tools you will need for assembly, but I would recommend using a good-quality screwdriver and socket wrench. The nice thing about assembling it yourself is you will know for sure everything is put together correctly. Once assembled, the unit is steady and easily bears my 230-pound frame. I’ve done several 40-minute workouts, and the E95 is smooth, stable, and quiet. The control console seems to be a large Android tablet adapted to the elliptical. Login and setup is intuitive and the programming offers numerous workout options as well as access to video training sessions, Netflix, YouTube, Audible, and so on. One tip: log into your home wifi before doing the rest of the setup. Is it a commercial-grade elliptical? No. But it cost half the price and, speaking from 20 years experience using Precore ellipticals at my gym, the SOLE E95 is more than adequate for any home gym. You will never put the kind of hours on your home elliptical that get put on equipment at a busy gym. My sense is that with basic maintenance, the E95 will last as long as you care to use it.

Well Built
2010 Sole E95 Elliptical. Has 5,450 miles. The Magnetic Brake Flywheel bearing wore out. Company replaced the entire flywheel within a week under warranty. I replaced the belt when the new flywheel was installed. Very well built elliptical. Should be good to go for another 5,000 miles.

Just Ok
Shipping takes a long time and there isn’t great communication. Both the elliptical and treadmill I ordered in 2023 came with some damage, presumably by a forklift. The company did send me replacement parts and the damage appears mostly cosmetic. The promised someone would come out repair and inspect. No one ever called. I repaired myself. Both pieces of equipment work. I ordered the latest models with larger displays, apps, and entertainment. This was very underwhelming. The screens are super slow even on my super fast network. The apps don’t always launch and it takes a long time to start up. Otherwise they work. I would stick to a lower end model as the upgrades were clearly not worth it. A little disappointed but the basic functions work. Only time will tell how long they last. My review is based on having owned 27 pieces of exercise equipment so far.

High Hopes And Disappointment
Overall, seems like a good piece of equipment and the warranty and service are pretty good. However, the setup (which I paid for a pro to do) was poor (it wobbled and made loud rubbing noises). Then, within an hour of the repair being made under warrantee (which took many weeks to actually happen), the rubbing noise had resumed and a new clunking noise was now happening! Grrr. You'd think a brand new piece of equipment would work smoothly and silently. I"m too tired and busy to go through the whole process again to try to get it fixed and hope that whatever is making the noise will not cause the product damage.

Ok For The Money
Good packaging. A lot of basic mechanical connections covered with plastic parts. Good workout. Not very stable. Really poor user experience with the display. Typical these days for manufacturers to put in too many bells and whistles and none of really works that good. Ok for the money. Coming off an old gym quality machine so I’m used to better quality. But that’s costs more too.
