Suspect Quality Control

Just bought this unit a couple days ago. It seems heavy duty enough. The setup instructions are average at best, but I've come to expect that nonsense. My biggest complaint is the quality control. For example, one of the bolt holes that holds the console on the uprights had a weld overhanging it (the molten metal from the weld bled over into the hole). There was no way to get the bolt into that hole. I had to get my tap set and literally re-tap the bolt hole. Luckily, I had a tap set on hand because if I didn't, there was no way to get this assembled. I don't think most people probably have a tap set laying around, then I don't know what you do. It's not like you are wrestling it back into the box and returning it. I haven't actually used the unit yet, but I'm really hoping the lack of quality control in the manufacturing process doesn't translate into the overall quality of the product. One other complaint, and maybe this is standard, is that the cord is really short. You either have to run it parallel to the wall, or facing the wall, if you don't want to run an extension cord. I want it to face into the room so I'm not staring at the wall while I run so I'm going to have get an extension cord...
