A Beautiful Machine With No Headphone Connectivity

This is a beautiful treadmill with a nice wide deck and a large monitor that has streaming capabilities and built-in workouts through Sole Fitness. There is a built-in phone charger and two large cup holders for your water bottles as well as a small compartment designed for smaller items like ear bud cases or keys. The other nice feature is a tablet holder at the top of the monitor, which snuggly fits the iPad. The controls are super easy and accessible and the digital set-up was very easy. The impact is nice and sound is fairly quiet. My biggest complaint and I still cannot believe I missed this when doing my research is that there is NO WAY to connect headphones manually or via Bluetooth to this treadmill even though it has Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth technology is ONLY to work with connecting a phone or tablet to screen mirror or play through the speakers. So unfortunately, if I want to watch a show while I work out on the treadmill the whole house has to hear what I'm watching/listening too. An absolutely ridiculous design and so incredibly disappointing. So while I have this beautiful monitor, the only way I can listen or watch something with headphones is through my tablet. This should be made much more clear in the product specs. IF you want Bluetooth connectivity with headphones this is NOT the treadmill for you. Go to Nordic Track for this!

Almost Perfect

Great Treadmill - but doesn't show pace. I do not know a runner who measures their speed by MPH, so it is curious why Sole left a pace option out of its treadmill??

So Far So Good

Very solid, good but not goofy features. Much better than my previous nordictrac

Great Tredmill

This tredmill is exaclty what we wanted. The only negative is the speakers sound like a tin can. My phone has better sound than what this tredmill puts out. otherwise, great!

Good Overall, But Witsome Non-trivial Design Flaws

Pros: 1. Clearly a sturdy, premium quality build. 2. Very good amount of speed and incline options. 3. No need of a subscription is a must for me. Cons: 1. I am not a super tall guy (5'11''), but when I run I can't reach the screen without often stepping off the belt and on the plastic under the console - the screen is just too far away. To use the screen safely I either have to pause or bend over awkwardly while running - if I just come up closer, I step on the plastic in front. Maybe I have short arms or something, but seem like someone even taller will likely have an even harder time. 2. I use the Sole chest heart rate monitor, but when I choose the fat-burn workout, which for my age should have a target HR of between 120 and 140, the treadmill still pushes me well past 170 without any adjustments. If I have to control the pace manually to stay in my target heart rate zone, what is the point of asking for my age, having me use a monitor, or having different programs? 3. Sole heart rate monitor does not auto-connect - have to go through the connection menus every time. 4. No way to put entertainment apps (like Spotify) in the background or in a smaller picture-in-picture screen to watch your progress while still listening to music. If you want to review your exercise progress graphs you have to back out of the streaming app completely and have it turn off.
