I want to share my frustrating experience with ordering the ST90 treadmill from Dick’s Sporting Goods. Initially, things started off well — a very helpful store manager assisted me in placing the order and clearly confirmed that haul-away and assembly were included. But that’s when the nightmare began. Shortly after, I received a call from the third-party delivery company (I believe it was LIT), informing me that my order was for delivery only, with no assembly or haul-away included. I immediately called the Dick’s store, and a gentleman assured me he would contact them to fix the issue. What followed was days of back-and-forth between me and the delivery company. Eventually, I received a text saying they were on their way for assembly. I was excited — but that excitement quickly turned to shock. The technicians arrived without the treadmill! They were only there for assembly, even though the treadmill hadn’t been delivered at all. I called the store again and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with was very rude and dismissive, telling me to just call the 1-800 number. I called multiple times with little to no help. I finally decided to cancel the entire order. The representative on the phone confirmed it was canceled. But the next day — surprise — I received a text that my treadmill was out for delivery! I refused the delivery, and I’ve now been waiting over 10 days for my refund. Bottom line: I strongly recommend ordering directly from Sole and Skip the hassle and avoid the unnecessary stress.
