Mom of girls in upstate
Levels stove nicely and allows air flow. Using it on the grass in the yard and not on a patio.

This is a very sturdy stand. Its design keeps it in place and it is stable on cement and dirt; the only two surfaces I have used it.

The ring pit stand is an essential addition to the solo stove; it does a great job overall to protect underlying surfaces from heat damage. I like that it fits easily inside the stove for storage. My only complaints are that it’s a bit overpriced and the attachment to the stove base could do with being more secure. Other than that it’s a must have.

I bought this to go with the solo stove I was given. The stand does its job and gets the stove off the ground.

So, I just reviewed the solo stove 1.0 but I got a request to review the fire ring as well. All I can say is it is mandatory if you are using the soli stove on your lawn or like I use mine ,on a wooden deck. It keeps the stove from burning its mark into the wood or lawn. A necessity unless you're using the stove at a camp ground or out in a remote place with no worries about scorched earth when you are done. With the ring you can use the stove on your front lawn with no burn marks. So, yes, it is worth the extra $50 to be at piece of mind...

Helpful to have stand to raise Solo Stove off of wood deck.
Awesome fire pit
If your using this on your deck or porch area the ring is definitely a necessity and well worth it.

I have used this once but it worked well to support my solo stove and gave me peace of mind when using the stove on my wooden deck.

Can now put my solo stove on my concrete patio, trex deck or even grass! Wish it wasn’t $50 because it’s just a stainless ring with holes in it….;)
