New At This

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used a tripod before, but it works pretty good.

Tripod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well built. Sturdy. Fits on the rim of my Yukon stove. Adjustable chain allows for varying heating temperatures. Haven't used yet but is just what I was looking for to cook from a tripod. Will work great I'm sure.

Elegant Engineering

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Practical addition to solo camp stove to fine tune pot temperature. The chain height adjustment is simple and elegant (use gloves!) A little dry silicone spray lube on leg joints makes assembly and disassembly easier.

Cooking For 50

This last weekend we entered a cooking competition and needed 50 taste sized portions. We ended up making a Thai green chicken curry in a 12 Qt. cast iron Dutch oven over our Bonfire and it was brilliant!!! We had the Dutch oven slightly resting on the ember screen (with the middle bit out of it) and the chain on the tripod holding it up. The tripod was SOLID as we moved it from the solo stove to off (it was super hot) and it was heavy! I did write to solo stove to ask its weight limit but still haven’t heard anything. Anyway, solid products!! (I can’t attach a photo but will do so in the solo stove community on FB)
