Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good boot. There is no way the Sorel Caribou winter boot will remain waterproof for more than a year. The rubber will soon crack and they'll be useless after one season. I've gone through three pairs over the last 10 years or so. At first I thought it was a fluke but they're all made from the same inferior rubber. Everyone I know who has bought them says the same thing. You'll get one season out of them. That's it.Live and learn. The lack of negative reviews must mean they all get deleted. This is my second try. Lets see if this one gets through. What's the point of having a five star rating system if you can't give anything a poor rating?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Rubber I was a big fan of Sorel boots for decades, and still have my original boots that are over 30 years old. Through the years, I also purchased many different models for me and my son. Unfortunately, I bought a pair of Caribou boots, and the rubber (or what ever its composition is) started to crack and tear after limited use. I emailed Sorel and just got run around with an additional number to call. Switching to LL Bean...at least they stand behind the products they sell. I have no confidence in Sorel anymore and believe they may be living on an old reputation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the Sorels we knew and loved I bought a pair to replace my Sorel Pack boots that I got 20+ years ago. Also bought a pair for my son. Quality has taken a steep nosedive since Columbia bought Sorel. 2 months after my son starter wearing these, he complained of having cold feet and that snow got into his boots. I assumed it was because he hadn't laced them tightly. The next spring after wearing for about 3 months he complained of water getting in. I looked at his boot and there were cracks in the rubber that gaped when he walked. I looked at my boots and cracks were forming as well. These are not the quality boot that used to be called Sorel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product meet my needs and look good. Hello Sorel Winter boots representative, I have one pair of sorel winter boot for last 30 yrs and the lining was torn a part and i have a tough time to find the insert lining for it, but I was happy with it for such so long years, but there is a small problem for me that I can not find a size 7.50 for men, I have a small feet. I could use size 8 but is very loose on my feet. Please considered helping the small people with small feet like me. I hope this will help you to have the smaller size available for small feet like me. Thank you for your consideration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overrated Bought these in January of 2015 so I wore them for 2 months (maybe 7-10 times) and by the following spring (15-16 months old) they began to breakdown. I tried a claim but warranty is 1 year. All I heard was how these boots last 20 years. Not the case. Don't waste your money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast I don't normally review sites, but I got my order so fast I wanted to make sure people knew that this was a good service.I recently bought a pair of SOREL boots from Dick's, I got them within two days from my order and they were exactly what I expected. The process was very easy and they had a very reasonable price in comparison with other online stores. I will definitely be using Dick's online store again in the future. As for the boots, I have not had the opportunity to wear them, other than around the house to see how they fit, to give them a true review as the weather has not gotten cold enough to warrant wearing such a warm boot. I will follow up when the snow starts to fall.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overpriced The boots are warm enough. I live in the Adirondacks and we get plenty of cold weather. However, these boots are no warmer or higher quality than my 5 year old Pro Line boots that cost $40.00. These boots are over priced. You can get the same quality at half the price with another brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good boot but not rated for -60 I ordered these boots for my husband because they advertised a comfort rating of -60 degrees. When we received them, the information on the boot said -40 degrees. They are still good boots and my husband was happy with them, but they need to have the facts straight on the website. I contacted customer service and was given 10% off for my problem and was told it would be corrected. The representative was friendly and helpful, I just don't want anyone else to be misled by the rating. I would still recommend the boot.
