Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm My husband works in construction and has tried many winter boots that would not keep his feet warm. He finally found the right but with these, he absolutely loves them!he says that this is the first book to keep his feet warm. He loves them so much that he bought a pair for my two sons that also work construction with him

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware not real rubber, they use a thermoplastic material, which is not suitable to be stitched through, witness the countless people experiencing catastrophic failure of seam where leather upper meets bottom- this cannot even be cobbled for repair! Sorel used to make quality products, buyer beware- these look like excellent, durable boots.... they simply are not and the SOREL warranty is pitiful.... After Sorel refused to send me a new pair, when I notified them the boot seam had separated , I tried to get these boots fixed by a cobbler... 2 refused to do repair stating it would not hold ,,, the 3rd guy I tried actually made a huge patch over the separation, and glued and stitched.... this lasted for a while, but then the entire seam on BOTH boots separated... boots are in trash... and they are hardly even worn!! as noted above, buyer beware

Rated 2 out of 5 by from POOR CONSTRUCTION...SOREL has done nothing to fix. Otherwise nice boots!! I purchased a pair of Conquest boots from Dicks Sporting goods about 3 years ago and I loved them. They keep my feet warm, the fit is perfect and the traction is great. I have worn them the last few winters maybe a total of about 20 times as I only use them to snow blow, so anything over 3 inch snow. So I’m estimating high just to be fair. I never had a problem until last week. I went to lace them up to snow blow and I noticed the leather had separated from the rubber on one boot in two places along the side and at the heal. I was shocked because otherwise they still look relatively new. Now I’m stuck with snow boots with gaps where snow and water can enter the boot. Before you buys these go to SOREL website and read the reviews. They all say the same. I understand that any warranty may have expired. But it does not seem to have created any desire for the company to address this very common problem. Sad, a company that “had” a good reputation for producing high quality boots seems to have now chosen profit over quality. I’m concerned that they continue to sell a boot that has had this problem for many years and continues to have this problem as most recent as 2 months ago according to your website reviews. It’s a shame because otherwise I really like this boot. But I can’t justify spending $150.00 for a boot that could only last for a few wears. Please step up your game Sorel, because your well-earned reputation for quality is falling fast. This type of product will certainly lose you lifelong customers. I’m hoping that Sorel will step up and do something to try to correct this. If I knew that this problem had been corrected I would but another pair today. Sad...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks good poor quality I bought these several years ago. I wanted something durable and attractive as I only use them one week per year to go skiing. boy was I surprised, after a few seasons the rubber came apart. I have an old pair of similar boots which I paid $30.00 and they still look like new. Only a one year warranty and I understand why. If I had bought them from _______ I could return them for a new pair free. I will never, never, never buy another product from Sorel and you should not either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Durability issue The same separation has happen with the boots I have. Where the rubber meets the leather. Also the grommet for connecting gators has broken off. Lastly, the fabric near the draw string has ripped. These boots are only a few years old and have been kept in the origional box when stored for the winter. As I am not a boot designer I don't know how to tell you how to fix the rubber/leather separation. Maybe better grommets and the tab for pulling the boot up should have been extended to the top of the boot. Bottom line: would I recommend this boot? NO Would I recommend Sorel? Not sure, unfortunately they are not widely available in my area so trying them on to check fix and function at purchase is troublesome. Pictures on Sorel web site

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you have a wide foot, buy something else Very narrow compared to my older pair that was ten years old and I went up a size. It took over three weeks to get them, so, I would not purchase from Dicks again, I can usually get something off of Amazon in two days. I wore my last pair right off the shelf, am having to break these in in the house, not sure I will keep them if they do not loosen up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a Disappointment ! I seldom use this boots during the winter, now the Front of the boots Rubber separated from the Leather ... Poor quality from what you may think a 'reputable Company' - now questionable ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Awesome 1 season boots 3 months of 2 hours per day. Inside heel liner wore through. Lined it with leather. 4 years old now top of toe bend leather separated from rubber. Not what expected from great company. Have pair of model 1967's of my fathers purchased in 1969 that are in better shape.
