I needed boots that would keep my feet warm & dry in the winter during my walk to work. I haven't worn them outdoors yet, but they feel well insulated. I think the warm & dry part is met. However, the tread on these boots is severely lacking. They are cold weather boots, which means they should have proper grip for wet, snowy or icy weather. There is only tread around the perimeter & the center of the sole is flat with no tread/grip. I really like these boots overall, but I worry about slipping & falling easily given the lack of grip/tread on the bottom. Poor design for winter boots.
