Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad for a beginner set I have been fishing my whole life, but am just beginning my collection of gear. I really wish I could have opened the box before buying. This seemed like the best bet for a beginner. There are lots of hooks which I seemed like too many (maybe a novice would need this many because of snags?). Could have used a small set of pliers to round it out. My fiance bought this for me, and he bought himself a bunch of lures. I'm just using worms with a sinker and bobber, and have caught so many more fish than him, lol. I'm sure we will upgrade someday, but this is perfect for fishing off the dock.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My lil' man loves it! I bought this tackle box for my youngest son. He commented on the larger tackle box we purchased for big brother and although I thought he might be too young, I'm really glad I bought it. There are several different hook sizes that we'll allow him to use once he gets older but there are several additional items like bobbers, stringers, etc. that he can use now; needless to say, he's loving life with HIS OWN tackle box. Good buy on this one!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product for a young child The size on the tackle box is very decieving. I purchased 2 for a great price for my 7 year old and 12 year old. Was looking for a tackle box that had everything they needed to get started at the sport they love, fishing. The box is so small, if you have any other tackle or gear, they won't fit in it. It's so tiny, its perfect for a 5 year old, but not much older.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Rock and Roll Box I use the 88 for fishing in the local lake, it holds all of my doodads just fine and it's pretty durable. You'll have to secure items in the tackle tray or else don't jostle the box because if you do everything will fall out and the inside of the box will be a mess. Other than that it's pretty good especially because of all the extra tackle you get.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice starter set for grandkids I liked the basic selection of gear, room for more tackle and price. I think my grandchildren were pleased with their first tackle box. I liked the dual colors so my grand-daughter could have pink and my grandson can have blue. I looked in several stores and I was happy to find this at Dick's!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ok little box Comes with a lot of hooks, 4 bobbers, couple splitshot and a hook removal tool.No line included and the box is a little too small to fit everything you need to fish. It's an ok buy if you're bringing another tackle box and you need one for the kid as well.No quality issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good starter box for kids Good starter box for kids although the 88 count is mostly used up on hooks in several sizes we don't need that many sizes to get started leave off a few hooks and throw in some lures or a coupon for a couple small jars of powerbait to get em started

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we were looking for We were taking our daughter fishing for the first time and this was perfect. She loved opening and closing it, it was small and compact so her tiny two year old hands could carry it and she added her own stickers to the outside to personalize!
