Ball every day. This Spalding backboard is made of polycarbonate material that's clear as glass but near-impossible to destroy. It comes with a steel rim that breaks to the front.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality product but as usual for a lot of products you buy these days install instructions are lacking in detailed instructions. . In other words hard to figure out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an elevator mount on a pole. Unfortunately, the new board did not include bolts of sufficient length to mount the board the elevator arms. Fortunately, I had retained the bolts from the old board which I was able to use.

Couple years in the sun and that shatter proof backboard becomes brittle and falls apart!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous backboard lasted outside about three years before starting to break and chip. We bought this new backboard to replace the old one in our pole/elevator system. The new backboard fit and worked in this system without need of any adaptor kits, and while it was tight and tough to remount, it works and we're back up and playing regularly. So far, this is a little smaller backboard but works great. We hope this one will last longer than three years, but we do play often and pretty hard on it. I'd recommend this backboard and rim set as a good replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t had time to install the new back board after the real bad HAIL STORM on May 6th. It appears to be ok after opening the box.

Very good product and price. Please note, in gmail both on a PC and mobile, the product image is overlapping the rating text. I'm only able to see the selection circles. For better responses, please fix.

Me and my family love the backboard and rim combo that we got from Spaulding! It was the perfect upgrade and facelift that our old inground basketball system needed. The only issue that we had was with the instructions, because we also replaced the pole mounting mechanism, which was not Spalding brand, and had its own instructions. It took a while to figure out which instructions steps to follow and which ones to skip, in regards to the backboard and the mount, but I eventually figured it out and now it works perfectly, and can be set to any height!

Use it for children’s church fun and fun games. The backboard is a little thin but worth the money

I hope my kids get at least a year out of it. The backboard is like 1/8” thick. The universal mount kit is thin and cheap too.
