The Kids Like It... The Set Up Was Not Fun And Be Sure To Check That The Instruction Booklet Is Paginated Properly

I purchased this hoop for my 12 and 10 year old grandchildren in November 2025. I had researched several brands and felt this one offered the best value and the promise it would take "30 minutes" to install. Well, I did get the unit put together and the kids are enjoying it. However, there are some issues: 1- this is NOT a 30 minute set-up. Perhaps, if you choose to fill the base with water and anti-freeze, it might go quicker, but if you decide to add the 300 pounds of sand like I did, add about 90 minutes to your project. The holes in the base where you add the sand are quite narrow and it leads to a messy and length effort to pour 6 50 pound bags into the base. 2- the pages in the owners manual were all out of order. It took me a few steps to realize that the steps were all mixed up... another waste of time 3- the hoop is attached to the backboard on a spring loaded bolt. It was difficult for me to secure the hoop so that it was level to the playing surface. This seemed to me to be a very poorly designed part of the unit. 4- the playing surface is slightly pitched and there doesn't seem to be anyway to adjust the base to take into account a non level surface.

Super Happy So Far

Installation took a while. And we loaded up with 400 pounds of sand. It seems rock-solid and the spring in the rim is nice. Durability seems great, but time will tell. Very happy so far.

Quality Basketball Goal & Easy Set Up

I'm glad I paid a little more for this goal. Great quality and me and my son built it in an hour or 2.

Only have had it for a couple months and the crank to adjust it has come off. Any way to fix it ?
