Hard To Adjust

Overall - not a good system. Mine is buried and filled with concrete, so it’s absolutely sturdy. However, the U-turn system is too hard, and arguably impossible for pre-teen kids to use. It’s even hard for me to make adjustments. The older models with the push and pull adjustment lever in the back were much better.

Good And Bad But Keep Your Receipt!

The goal as a whole is great. If you install the pole correctly then it is super sturdy. If I had seen these reviews about the glass backboard beforehand I would have gone a different route. Keep your receipt! You will need it for the warranty when it breaks. We do not dunk on ours and were only shooting. The first shot one day hit the rim and the backboard popped and cracked into a million pieces. The handle to raise and lower is not very easy and would be difficult or even impossible for a shorter weaker person to do. I will say the customer support has been great and very helpful in getting me a replacement I just wish the backboard were more durable.

Design Flaw

This hoop includes a breakaway rim and adjustable height but states it is not for dunking. The rim is connected with 4 metal tubes with bolts passing through them if one of these metal tubs ever shifts and just touches the glass, the whole backboard shatters. We have replaced the backboard 3 times. Would be a lot better if the glass were cut wider in these areas so metal would not touch glass. The crank also struggles with the weight of the backboard. Great if you put it at 10 feet and leave it and never dunk on it. Otherwise, you will have issues.
