Amazing Hoop!

The instructions were labeled well and easy to follow. My only concern was how to connect the backboard, even with a second person. I ended up leaving the pole leaning on saw horses to attached the board, filling the base, and then ttipping up. After construction, I found it very easy to move. The 4 wheels mechanism is fantastic. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Faced A Bit Of Challenge But Overall All Good

Received the item on time, but the main pole was broken, so had to call for replacement - got is pretty fast and was able to put it together

Solid Goal!

The goal is sturdy and relatively straightforward to assemble. Completed it with myself and one teenage son. It was shipped missing a couple key parts which had to be obtained through Spalding which was a bit of a pain to provide all necessary purchase info from Dicks but eventually worked out and delayed the completion about a week.

Great Court...but

1st...GREAT court. LOVE IT> We've had this for over a year, but the base (both bases...there is a grey one on top of the large black one) have started cracking and springing leaks. The plastic is cracking from light pressure of my hand. Feels thin and brittle. How can we replace the water containers?

Rust Issues With The Frame

First off I would like to say that the playing experience on this basketball hoop is second to only one in a gym. For a driveway unit it is very good and sturdy. Unfortunately they used a poor quality metal on the frame, and after 5 years of sitting in my paved driveway the frame has rusted out. Its a shame, because everything else is very good. I am located in Florida 10 miles from the beach so salt is not a factor at my house. Only heat, humidity, an rain. If they used a better metal on the framing this would be an amazing product.

Loving This Hoop

It was very hard to put together as this hoop is extremely bulky and heavy. Def need two to three people. Loving the huge backboard and sturdiness.

Won’t Be Disappointed

I got this about a week ago and put it together without too much difficulty. It did take three of us, my son and his dad while I read the instructions and told them what to do ;-) My son loves it as do the neighbor kids. It’s great quality and a lot easier to move than I expected. Changing the height is also very easy. I researched a great deal of time before deciding to get this hoop and I don’t regret anything about this purchase. I think it was well worth the price.

Excellent Basketball Hoop

We bought this a month ago not really being fans for the portable systems. This system is amazing and is as sturdy as a system in the ground. It does take about 4 hours to construct but directions are straight forward. Very pleased with the purchase and highly recommend this system.

Just put the beast together this past weekend, took 4 hours. When it was done, it’s solid. Best hoop ever built.

It is a great quality hoop that will last for a long time. Just be aware that if you choose to put it together yourself it took 3 of us 5 hours.

The hoop won't shatter unless you dunk to hard very good hoop I would recommend

Beast Battle

The Beast arrived with a leak in the base. We bought some gel that absorbs the water and forms a "glob" that should form around the water and prevent leaking. That held for one day. Spalding did ship a new base and that arrived last week. We have not had the time or the opportunity to take the Beast apart and install the new base. All in all, the product was difficult to assemble. Now that we have a new base, we will have to take the Beast apart and put it together again. This time it should go a bit quicker. Once we are able to use the product it looks as though it will be good. Disappointing that it was a Christmas present and it is now mid-January and still cannot use it.
