Perfect For My Needs!

I had seen a demo of this on YouTube and already knew that I wanted one for my swim workouts. Plus, I would already know how to use it properly. I found that Dicks had this one and sent my hubby to get it for me. I love it! It really is perfect for my needs. It works my legs as a Kickboard, and my arms and core when I use it as a Pull Buoy. I am petite and this is a great size for me. The guy that did the demo however was about 6' and 165-170 pounds, and he had no issues with it sinking with him, as some have complained, if you watch videos on how to properly use this, you will love it. If mine ever wears out or something happens to it, I would definitely buy another.

Not For The Muscular

This is a great product in theory, and perhaps one that would work well for a younger or lighter swimmer, but for me as a 175 lb., moderately muscular, male, it just did not have sufficient buoyancy to support me as needed. Thus, I was not able to relax and had to fight to keep my body level... defeating the purpose of the exercise since I could not focus on my strokes. I would recommend the full-size, single purpose pull buoys instead.

Good Things Come In Small Packages!

I was fairly skeptical of this products' efficiency as a kickboard based on its small size and was concerned also that maybe it was a bit too large as a pull buoy. But its not...it actually works! I am not a small guy and was concerned that this product would not give me enough support or buoyancy to work effectively as a kick-board but since I travel a fair bit I was willing to give it a go. It works just fine and had more than enough support - at first I had to get used to my positioning but it definitely promotes better form and prevents lazy body positioning while kicking. It is shaped well so that it both glides as a kick-board and nestles between your legs as a pull-buoy - GREAT DESIGN! I like this product a lot!
