Throwing Shade

It's heavy but so far so good. Wish it could tilt in more positions but works good.

Great Umbrella…. Poor Stand!!

This is the perfect umbrella as far as size, weight and portability. However, the biggest downfall is the stand. The main pole will always be longer than the arms of the stand. Making this easy to tip. I have to use my ice chest to keep the whole thing from falling over. I will try to finish our softball season with it hoping it won’t brake from tipping over but will need to return for a better one. That is the plus side of dicks return policy.

Great Purchase

Great umbrella when out at the fields with kids sports.

Great Concept, Cheap Quality, Not Enough Weight To The Base.

The shade coverage is great, but the lack of weight at the base makes it easy to flip or fall over with even the slightest bit of breeze. First day taking it out to a softball tournament and a small breeze flipped the umbrella and tore a hole into the fabric. Which brings me to build quality. The fabric used is so thin, and the metal and plastic pieces feel cheap. The bag is made of the same cheap material and i wouldn’t expect the bag to last very long either. With how much this umbrella costs, you’d expect better quality and engineering. Also, I have a friend who has the same umbrella. There is one of two D rings missing from the top of the umbrella that’s used to secure the flaps when not in use. So quality control is not a top priority. I also have a reclining chair from this company that has come in clutch for my back issues, but quality is the same issue. That thing is already ripping and I got it mid summer. Improve on quality of material and add a weighted base, not just tie downs and spiral turf anchors (because often times theres no place to even use them to prevent wind from flipping it), without increasing the price and this is a 5 star product.
