Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Unhappy - Add a dog collar I will preface this review with; the collar I own is the Older version of this collar (SDR-BEEP) Granted I bought the collar 5 1/2 years ago for my two pointers. The collars themselves are literally flaking apart. I recently called into SportDOG, not to complain (because after all I have owned the collars for several years), I called simply to request repair/reconditioning. I was told these can't be repaired nor have I been able to find any repair facilities online. I am simply upset as I thought I was making a good investment, Nearly $600 for the two collars and beepers, in a quality product. I would recommend a collar that will be able to be repaired in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Satisfied with the Upland Hunter 1875 I have owned the Upland Hunter 1875 for 2 years now and couldn't be happier. I did a ton of research before settling on the 1875. It has more features than any other brand I looked at. I was especially interested in the page and beeper features and it has both. We use this on our Brittany and just got a 2nd Brittany and I'll be purchasing an add on color in the near future. The ability to control 2 dogs was an important part of my decision to purchase this model. I have had good success with the batteries and holding a charge as I did read this was a negative about this particular model but I haven't experienced that. I have done a ton of upland hunting with the color but have been in the field a lot and utilize the locate feature frequently. All around its a great color and I am very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great collar I have had the pleasure of using many collars and GPS as well. I have also owned the sport dog 1850 prior to new design. Sport Dog has done a great job refining this collar into a better fit for smaller necked dogs. I also like the ability to make all the changes on the fly no messing around everything is controlled from the transmitter. Compact tons of features even looks comfortable on the dogs nice product. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upland Hunter 1875 - A Terrific Product Went to the 1875 system from another brand, and couldn't be happier! We run a pair of English Setters, and the unit does great - durable, compact, and keeps a charge. Best of all is the flexibility you get for two dogs with the simple toggle of a switch. Really works nicely in heat, snow, and anything in between. Tried SportDOG with my son, who runs a Wetland Hunter. Great Products!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great collar This is the 2nd year I’ve used this collar on my brittany. The ease of use and customizable features makes this the right choice for me. I really like that the beeper can be turned on or off by the handheld remote. Battery life is excellent and charge time is fast. I love the beeper in heavy cover. If you need one collar for correction and location in one package this is it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great collar! I highly recommend this collar to anyone looking for an excellent, feature-packed collar. The choice of tones, and volume level options on the beeper offers something for many tastes. I have a Drahthaar, who points, and this collar offers a run mode, which beeps at an adjustable interval, and alerts you when your dog is on point. This feature is very helpful when hunting in heavy cover, or if your dog is not in sight. My father-in-law purchased this collar for himself, then a friend bought one on his recommendation, and now I bought one for myself. This is an excellent, high-quality, durable and dependable collar. I have had mine for several months, but my father-in-law has had his for about 4 to 5 years, and never had any issues. The rechargable batteries in all three devices are still going strong, and hold plenty of charge for an all day hunt, or even two full day hunts on one charge. This collar might be a little more upfront, but it is worth the money. Thanks for a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent collar and beeper Our staff at Gold Creek hunt club use the 1875 system for guiding clients in the field. Started with the 1850 years ago and always have had success with them. The guids run them everyday from September til Febuary so the durability has been great. Great product
