Great For Travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're looking forward to using it to travel to Colorado to ski, it's very durable and will protect our skis well. Shipping was extremely fast which I appreciated. Thank you!

Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a third Spotube I bought. The first two lasted a dozen years until the wheels got messed up. As mentioned by others, TSA always opens them; therefore, I try not to overpack the Sportubes to make it easier for TSA to put them back together :)

Great Ski Case!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this case to protect my ski’s and boots for a ski trip out to CO. Airlines beat up my last soft side ski bag so I wanted more durability and space for 2 sets of skis and boots. This case was perfect and no damage this time.

Solid Case For Air Travel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problems with TSA at all. Good sturdy case that keeps your board, bindings, boots all safe. I’m able to fit both my wife and my board, bindings, boots. I was also able to squeeze a helmet into the case without making it longer.

Great Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with the design and emphasis on security and protection for travel. I would recommend some sort of tether or retainer for the pin. I had a double open ended loop constructed to secure the pin to the travel case.

Great Investment! Sturdy And Holds Lots Of Gear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my son to use on a college ski trip. I've had one for years and it works great! When skiing alone, I can fit my skis, poles, boots, helmet and a small duffle bag in the tube. After that, I can usually just get by with a carry on bag for my other stuff. Easily holds two sets of skis and poles with a little extra room as well. It can hold 3 sets of skis, but unless they are kids skis, you will likely be over the 50 pound airline limit. I also recommend using a zip tie to fasten the latch to the tube so TSA doesn't lose it.

Not Easy But Got The Job Done

Directions/instructions were pathetic, and I'm sure we will figure it out as we get used to it, but I have no idea how it would, or could, fit two pairs of skis, boots and poles as it claims, and they certainly did not explain it at all...also you need to buy straps to hold skis together and hold ski brakes down, which is not clear either when you buy it. That all said, it was easy to wheel around and we were able to get two pairs of skis and poles, but no boots (it could only fit one boot anyway but that put it over the 50 lb limit and subject to extra charges for airline travel), so plan on carrying boots separately. The case kept our skis relatively safe, except from each other, but it should be designed better inside and explained better as to how to pack it...

Best Travel Case For Snowboards And Skis

If you plan to travel with snowboards or skis this is a MUST.Easy to use, fits everything and easy to travel with.It rolls and now it comes with the travel handle.

Great Case For Travel , But For 3 Skis Beware

Needed to ship skis by fedex rather than put on the plane with us. This sturdy case lets you do that. With 3 pairs of sskis they say. Took me 2 attempts - a Very tight fit but got them in finally. Also you need to buy special rubber bands for each pairs to hold each set together and this info is not on the site and learned this only the night i needed to pack. I improvised but spent 90 minutes packing 3 pairs of skis as a resultNow i need to spend more $ on the rubber bands for the return trip.

Just As Advertised

Used this to fly Southwest round trip. Flew two snowboards, bindings and boots just under the 50 lbs limit. Held up great and luggage/gear didn't have any damage. When two snowboards are used, the two-piece design is extended so far that it wasn't perfectly straight (the two pieces were about to be apart from each other). It looked weird but still protected the boards. When not being used, the two pieces collapse to about 3-4 feet. With two snowboards packed, it was very long and didn't fit in my car. Had to pack my gear at the airport. Side note: some airlines define your baggage as "one snowboard", whereas Southwest defined it as "snowboard equipment". I'm not sure if those "one snowboard" airlines will accept this luggage.

Great Purchase

I used the SportTube for my snowboard and a pair of ski's. It worked wonderfully and I highly recommend this product. I wished it would have come with a front handle for pulling it b/c with 2 ski's/boards, it was heavy. I will make something to attach to the front for the next trip.
