The Worst Frog

These have the worst hook up ratio of any frog I've ever fished. I've fished quite a few brands and styles. It is my favorite type of fishing. They are made of quality materials, and that's about it on the positive side. The body is so shallow, and rigid it barely collapses below the hook points, and it takes quite a bit of pressure to get it there. The larger version seems to be a bit better in that aspect, but haven't picked one up because the experience with this one, and the price, has pretty much steered me clear of this brand. I have frogs now which are highly productive, so don't really need to play the guessing game of which frogs will work. The pictured frog was $4.00, and rarely ever misses on the hook set. Body is softer, and the hooks are in a far better position to actually function.
