[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These flex M cameras are not as good as spy points ones they have made in the past the service isn’t very good. The motion sensors even if it’s on high it doesn’t always work. I definitely think there’s some issues they need to work out and it’s really weird like when I bought my very first one it’s synced automatically online and now you have to plug in to a computer the SD card to a computer and update it that way now and put the SD card back into the camera, which makes it even harder for people that put it out in the woods and all of a sudden there’s a new update and their camera is a day or so from their house and their hunting spot and then you gotta turn around and go get it just so you can update your camera. It’s not really user-friendly.

I bought this for 2025 season and worked great for two months. Now it takes pictures of everything but an animal. This is wasted money when on subscription which is extremely aggravating, when switched to the free version I have 100 photos of no deer or any other animal. Set the sensitivity at all three different levels no change false triggers left and right. Save your money and get something different, I didn’t head others advise online don’t make the same mistake.

I was given 2 of the Flex M cameras as a Christmas gift & they have been nothing but problems. They continuously stop working. I have been on the Spypoint chat line at least 5 or 6 times troubleshooting these cameras. At one point, they did replace one of the cameras, but that camera stopped working several times as well. I have asked Spypoint several times to send replacement (non cellular) cameras, but all they want to do is continuously troubleshoot the cameras I have without replacing them. Honestly, I have had alot of trailcams, but these are absolutely the worst! So glad I didn't sign up for the additional photo packages per month. Maybe I just got lemons, but you would think Spypoint would like to make sure their customers were completely satisfied rather than unhappy.

I bought this twin pack in October of 2024. They worked good that fall when I finally got them connected to my Spypoint account. Last fall (2025) I had both set up for months getting the occasional picture and assumed there weren't many deer around. When I started sitting in my stand for archery season I would walk in front of my camera and watched several deer walk in front of it as well. No pictures were taken. I was very disappointed especially since the deer I ended up harvesting should have been on camera and would have made a neat picture to pair with the mount. I got one good season out of these.
Disappointed Again
FLEX-M : I'm using rechargeable batteries. So these stay in place for months, before requiring re-charging. ( two units ). They stopped working properly, so I decided to try charging the batteries. When I opened the compartment to remove them, they were full of water. I noticed that when I turned them off,( before opening ), the GREEN light would stay lit. I took them home, sat them in a warm place, open, to dry. Now they will show a green light, when motion activated. But never turn blue, and send a photo. After investing $ in the chargeable batteries, I'm reluctant to change brands. After using this brand ( not this model ) for three years, and having issues. ( the company has sent me two free replacements in the past ) I'm doubting I will buy this brand again. The battery compartment should NOT leak !!!

I bought 6 Flex M cameras for my bobcat line to keep tabs on my sets 50 miles from home they worked like a dream. I pre baited some cubbies before the season opened and have a pile of great photos over the season I really enjoyed using the cams. They take some tweaking or they just keep taking pics. Some cams are more trigger happy than others.

1st I am happy they have a 100 free pic plan. The bad news is uses most of them taking pics of nothing. My link micro s did the same thing until it died just out of the warranty period. Spy point said basically tough luck. I have purchased two other cameras from another brand since then. My friend has the flex-m dark, and the deer look right at it when it takes a picture, his now only lasts 2-3 days even with the solar charger and re-chargeable batteries.

After so many pictures with unlimited plan it seems like it’s always having connectivity problems when using unlimited plan and SPYPOINT agent will tell you it’s connected and 5 minutes later a different agent will tell you it’s not connected. It’s like they shut picture transfers off after so many pics sent on unlimited plan. Don’t waste your money they won’t refund you anything

I really wanted these cameras to work, but they don't. Seems like you need to reboot them every 10 days or so. That is about as long as it would send photos. Thought maybe the plan so I joined the Insiders club and upgraded the plan on my cameras. Same results. Today I tried to back off the plans to basic even though it's been over a month since any camera has sent me a photo. They changed software and you can't use the app to change plans. There is a many step process that includes not logging in for some steps and logging in for others- Really? So out of touch with current ease of use expectations. I cancelled all but no refunds for a service that has not provided a photo in over a month.

The link micros worked great but the flex has a design flaw where if it starts leaking the door acts like a cup and and holds water and the electronics gets saturated with water and the camera is done for this has already happened to 3 of my flex cameras already I’m making covers for the rest and slowly going to different brands because they only last about a year

I have 37 Spypoint cameras in the field currently. 15 link micros, 9 flex G 36, and 14 flex m. I run the LIT-22 batteries in all the flex series cameras. All the micros just alkaline (Energizer). I periodically bring them home and check for updates. Batteries in micros last 3 months and lithium packs last 6 months. Using the micros for the third year. I keep them out all year. Best camera for the money. No complaints here. Just hate seeing only negative reviews especially when my 37 work great ......

I bought this item 1 week ago. The camera won’t take pictures in the dark and when it does the photos are just black. The company has tried to fix the problem but nothing worked. I doubt I will get a refund or a new camera.

Initial setup for two at our camp was super easy. Battery life has been very good with Lithium batteries. However, the GPS location of camera locations are not accurate and do not work for long durations, and no matter how much I try to minimize the activity level they randomly take photos to the point of exceeding the 250 each per month by the second or third week of the month. When someone or something does actually activate it the image now doesn't show up till days afterwards or not at all in an area with a strong signal. I was happy from the get go but as time goes on within this past year of purchasing, they are getting way less reliable.
