Sturdy and, as long as you buy the right size, it serves it purpose. Just a few inches off the floor can make a big difference when using the carriage.Please not the Dick's refuse to match the price and this product is cheaper elsewhere. I ended up returning and buying someplace else. It was a huge difference in price.
