Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great piece of equipment. I receive my equipment in a timely manner, was easy to put together. Easy step by step process. I did forget to plug in the bottom wiring which is why it didn’t’ function at first. But I caught it and it instantly turns itself on the moment you start exercising. So I have nothing to do but walk on it. It displays everything I could ever need in information including pulse, time, calorie count and distance. It also has height and endurance settings. Display will shut off after a few minuets of non use and all you need to do is wipe your braw and walk away. Very happy with my Stamina - Avari® Adjustable Height Treadmill. Will highly recommend it to anyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Small, Received it Damaged We wanted a treadmill that would fold up and not take up too much room in the bedroom and this one fit the requirements, however we found it to be too small in length for my wife's stride. 43 inches is just too short. The width is also very narrow at 12 !/2 inches. It was a concern when we bought it but we hoped it would work. Also, the fitness panel turns on but does not register any exercise. Just before calling the company I noticed a crack in the base board that was probably there when I received it but just didn't see it until I was lubricating it with silicone. Unless you have no room in the budget, I recommend spending $600-$800 for a powered fold up treadmill that will give you a 20" x 55" base and some nice exercise program features. That's what we decided to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Treadmill I decided to try this manual treadmill because I could not take the continuous movement and vibration of electronic treadmills with my knee problems. I was absolutely amazed at how easily the belt moved and loved this unit from the moment I started walking on it. Assembly was very easy and accomplished quickly. It is very well made and perfect for my needs. I could not be more pleased with this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, great workout. This is one of the best self propelled treadmills I have ever used. It's easy to use, easy to change settings and light weight. I would recommend this product. On the con side: putting it together and adjusting it will take a little time and patience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Like It, Except It Needs To Be Taller I'm a 65 year old woman and didn't have a problem assembling it myself. I like the product because it's very quiet. I have it in a spot where I can watch tv at the same time and am grateful that the machine doesn't drown out the sound. My only complaint? It's not for tall people. I'm 5'8" and I have to hang on to the portion in front of me instead of on the sides, which are too short. This machine needs hand holds that are higher up. Of course, that puts me at an awkward angle for any long walks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price but some small issues I am going to try and be as detailed as I can so people know up front what to expect if they are interested in purchasing this treadmill. The Pros: Really nice size for an apartment. Folds up easily and has wheels so it's fairly easy to move around and doesn't take up much room at all. Nice that it is manual so you don't have to be connected to the wall. The belt moves smoothly and I haven't had any trouble with it sliding to one side or the other at all. Built pretty sturdy; seems like it will last for a long time. It's nice having incline height options. I've used the least incline setting and so far, it's provided a great workout. The Cons: Time consuming to put together and instructions are a bit confusing. It tells you to make sure all the pieces are included right at the beginning and I couldn't find a couple screws and washers but then in fine print it tells you that some of the pieces are already attached to the treadmill. Ended up finding all the pieces that I needed once I read that. One thing that I got frustrated with is that it's hard to reach the bolts to tighten the base that connects to the handles so it makes the handles a bit wobbly (this doesn't affect the belt but does make the handles move a bit when you are holding them and walking). Also, one of the plastic covers that goes over the part between the handles and the base, doesn't fit right (doesn't cover the whole area) while the other one fits fine, but it's just a cosmetic issue that doesn't affect walking. As far as walking on the treadmill goes, there are 8 tension levels that you can choose from, with a dial that's located on the side of the treadmill. The dial is smooth to use but I haven't been able to use anything higher than 1 as it already takes a lot of strength to keep the belt moving. People weren't kidding when they said it can be tough using this since it's manual and you have to provide the "power". Even on the lowest incline and lowest tension setting, it's takes muscle to keep it going. I walked 2 miles on it last night and I was drenched in sweat when I was done. It honestly provides a great cardio workout, if that's what you're looking for. One thing to keep in mind that you'll have to be holding on to the handles at all times. Without holding the handles, there's no way I could get the belt going at all. I tried "jogging" a little and this was hard but I was able to a little by holding on to the handles. This is really more for walking and not running, though. As far as the handles go, I am 5'4 and the handles are perfect height for me, if you are really tall, you're going to end up hunching over so this probably won't work for you. All in all, for me personally, I am satisfied with my purchase. While there are a few quirky things that annoy me a bit, there's nothing extreme enough to make me want to return it and the more I use it, the more I am getting use to how it works. If you purchase this knowing that it's going to be very different than an electric treadmill and are using it for walking, I think you'll be pleased with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DONT BUY Your moving the belt that's why its so quiet. There is no motor and it came broke. Also if you stop or step wrong you jolt forward. Belt isn't long either.
