I put this together and couldn’t get any resistance to row Couldn’t get anyone at Dicks to assist even at the store So took it back to a store I gave it 3 stars because the man at the service counter was very accommodating with the return

Noisy After First Month

I would highly recommend this rower! It was packaged so nicely and compact that there was no extra freight charge. It was very easy to assemble. One trim piece didn’t fit exactly right, so I had to trim it slightly, but was fine. Didn’t know if I would like the rowing arms on this machine, but I absolutely love them. This is a great no impact workout. Felt my posture was improved almost immediately after beginning using this machine. Love that it can also store upright, making it great for smaller spaces.

Effective Affordable Rower
I purchased this rowing machine after my gym closed. I also have a bum ankle which I plan to remedy with a Total Ankle Replacement in the next year or so. After reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase this rowing machine. I am older and I liked the fact that many of the reviewers were over 50 and some mentioned joint/bone problems. The other reviews are spot on...I assembled it myself and found it pretty easy to do. I have been using it every other day or so for a couple of weeks and I am pleased. It is quiet and I can watch a TV program while rowing. The only negative I have seen so far is the timer is not accurate which is not a deal breaker since I use my own heart monitor. For the price point, it is great and you can move it against the wall and out of the way. I have a personal trainer and he tried it and thought it was very effective. The four star rating is due to two factors: the inaccurate timer and I want to see how long it lasts with frequent use.

Stamina Rowing Machine!!
This is one of the best purchases I have made in years. Really - the arm motion makes all the difference in the world. I liked to row boats years ago but most machines have you pulling chest-ward only. This machine has the actual motions of what it is like to row a real boat - meaning that all of the upper arm is used. At 62, this is important to me, especially that full range for shoulders - very relaxing. I started at 6 and am still there. Rowing is very pleasurable, and this machine makes that happen. Stamina is the goal here, and it provides that challenge in spades while providing what I can only say is fun! I love this machine. Sometimes I just sit down and row while I am thinking about something, outside my program. Assembly: I did it myself in one hour, no problems. Just follow the instructions as presented. I am up to 12 minutes after just 10 days and can already see the fitness returning to my arms and shoulders. My back and legs already feel better, tighter. I normally rely on my physically challenging job to keep me in shape, but with the covid and the place shut down until who knows when, I needed an activity not hard on ho-s, and this machine is it for me. My hips actually feel stronger, not painful. Also my lower back feels good, the gentle persistence of daily rowing is strengthening my core, and all the while the rowing is just fun. I listen to pod casts and imagine myself on a cool lake, and pretty soon the minutes are up but sometimes I just keep on, because it feels so good! And that’s all I have to say about that. Do yourself a favor: be good to yourself. Treat yourself like someone you love. Exercise is good for the body, mind and soul.
