Rated 5 out of 5 by from Something for Everyone Let me start by saying that it took me less than hour to put this together. Even though one of the foot plates came with a crack across the middle of it, the service dept was very helpful and shipped out a replacement that day. Back to the title, I am 6'2" and right at 250lbs my wife is 5'2" and our son is 5'3" and ALL 3 of us are able to use this machine with no problems. It's a space saver and well worth the money. The only thing I would like to see change on this machine is having the tension adjustment somewhere if front of you, instead of under you. I highly recommend this machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great workout I bought this rower to help me with my New Year's resolution of losing weight. I have used it for 2 weeks and I'm still trying to condition myself to do more than 100 strokes. This is a great workout!! I like the real rowing motion and the wide seat. I thought the seat was going to be uncomfortable but it's not. The seat glides smoothly on the track, I was impressed. Some people have mentioned having trouble keeping their feet in the straps, but I have had no problem. The instructions mentioned there were no batteries included for the display but mine had the batteries. If you want a good cardio workout and a workout for your abs and legs this is it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! I've been using this machine for a couple weeks now and it's great! I like the rowing motion better than other machines I have used at the gym because it feels more like real rowing. I gave it four stars instead of five because the foot pedals are a little awkward and I wish the resistance could go higher. I am already using it on the 9th resistance level (goes up to 12) and I am really out of shape right now due to an injury. However for the price, you can't beat this machine. Also super easy assembly. I did it by myself in no time and I'm not very handy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first rower This was the first piece of exercise equipment I've ever purchased and overall I'm content with it. The only thing I wish it had was a mechanism to make the workout more difficult on the lower body. The hydraulic cylinder works fine for making the workout more difficult for the upper body. I have used resistance bands to anchor the seat to the base of the monitor stand - as a result, when my seat moves back when I row, I now have some resistance. I prop up my phone on the monitor and watch shows while I row to make the hour go by. It's good cardio. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Compact Machine I have had this machine for a month and it has given me a nice full body workout. The machine is very easy to set up and put away. It fits nicely in smaller spaces. My biggest critique of the machine are the foot holders. During moderately intense activity my feet easily slip out of the holders. It can be a bit annoying when you are really feeling your stride. However, with a quick reset you are quickly back into your workout. I would definitely encourage Stamina to improve this part, but would say it shouldn't stop you from buying this machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Loud Seat does not glide smoothly through the tracks and makes a lot of noise. Would return product if I hadn't already discarded the packing materials

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price I purchased this rowing machine to give myself an alternative aerobic exercise as I already own an elliptical and run as well. I was also hoping that the resistance would help build upper body and leg strength. The aerobic aspect is excellent. You can really get a good cardio workout and get a real sweat going. One caveat, if you have back issues, which I do, you should try out a rowing machine at a gym before you buy. It has taken me many short workouts to build up to half-hour on this machine. At first it hurt my low back (where my issues reside) and could not use it regularly. Though now I have an easier time of it, sometimes I still find I cannot use the rower for longer than 10 minutes or so. If you have no back issues, I would give this product an unqualified recommendation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a good machine to "in the house" workout I bought another of these machines in 2012 and it was good but I had problems with failing wheels and leaking shockers. Regardless to those problems I was able to have a good workout time with it. Now (2016) I bought another one, which I have been using for about three months, and I immediately noticed a few nice improvements over the old one. First of all, the feet supports now have two ways to mount the straps which all but eliminated the problem people with small feet had to keep them in place. Second, the shocker had its maximum resistance greatly increased, which was great for those who want a heavier load. The overall quality seemed to be better, and I very happy with my purchase.
