Elite Total Body Recumbent Stationary Bike

I bought this stationary bike 16 years ago - 2009 - and it's still going strong. Use it with resistance bands tied to the bottom for upper body workout. Beats paying for the gym, which is why I bought it in the first place.

Exclent Bike

The bike is quiet and provides a smooth steady resistance. Very comfortable. The hand bike portion is also excellent good smooth resistance . You only get resistant on pedals or hand pedals a, one ar time. But very nice and compact. Too Heavy for me to move around so I put it where I want it. Nicer than equipment I have used at rehab places and two for the storage space of one with hand bike built in Would recommend and will buy another one if need arise

The erge upper part working well. Used it post achilles surgery. Its helped a great deal. However the pedals have been making a terrible clciking sound and seems as if the belt or tension mechanism isnt functioning properly. Its hard for me to tell as im limited with using my leg. Hopefully covered under warranty.

Comfortable Bike

The bike is pretty sturdy and comfortable. It is easily adjustable for the rider and feels good, but there are some things that need to be improved to make it a really good bike. First, it has knocking noises and squeaks when riding. I have tightened up everything that can be accessed, but it still does it. The major thing though is that the hand pedals have no bearings and make the operation of them not very smooth. It is plastic against metal. The addition of ball bearings would greatly improve the feel and operation of the pedals. I would not purchase it again because of that.

My Stamina Elite Total Body Workout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly - went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function - very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can (and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras - The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality - As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.
