I got this thru my work for use at work. The bike itself is nice because it is quiet and the resistance is adjustable, but the display for the distance/Cal/time is horrible. It does not fit on the post which is fine since I would not be able to see it there. It also does not transmit even small distances and this has just gotten worse. It originally could transmit to a spot on the side of my desk. Last week I had to put the display directly above the bike on my desk. Today it cannot transmit to there. It has to be right next to the machine (under the desk). It wouldn't bother me as much if it turned back on automatically, but it does not, so if I pause for a few minutes I would have to turn it back on but since I cannot see it below my desk I do not know if it is on or off and it is complicated getting my chair into place so it is not realistic to continuously check. I like to use the display as a means of motivation because I try to beat my high score and want to build up to biking longer distances, but now I cannot use the display or it does not record accurately. Also it cannot be used well with a chair with wheels and cannot be used at all on non-carpet floors as it will move. I use it at work on a chair with wheels on carpet, but I slowly get pushed away and also it takes a bit to get the legs of the chair to straddle the base of the bike so that I can get close enough to reach the pedals, which is a bit annoying if I can't have the display on my desk. I liked that I could pedal forwards and backwards but now the machine will click if I pedal backwards which is irritating since I am in an office space with others. I truly loved this bike at first, but it just keeps getting worse after only having it for about a month and now I am regretting having wasted so much money on it. If someone does not care about knowing distance and calories, then I might recommend it (though you could definitely find cheaper), but distance/calories was a huge selling point for me so I cannot rate it higher.
