Happy Rower

The rowing machine arrived with a gash in the package and the metal shroud around the Magnet was bent. During assembly I was able to bend the shroud back into shape, thus removing the risk of injury during the use of the machine. Once assembled the machine worked smoothly. In regards to the damage during transport I had very prompt and competent interactions with both the seller and the manufacturer. Obviously, the damage was caused by neither of them, I got it fixed quickly and I enjoy the machine. I was happy with both the purchase process and the quality of the product.

A Good Rower For The Price But Has A Few Quirks

The machine works well; however, I cannot get the monitor to work. It starts and I can scroll through the entries but it won't record anything. The pedals aren't as bad as some folks wrote in their reviews but you have to snug the Velcro straps down very tightly to keep your feet from slipping off.

Decent Rowing Machine With A Couple Wrinkles

Couple Wrinkles, but this Rowing Machine has Value. Very decent value if they fix the display console by improving how well the calorie is constructed and mounted, as it did not work both times - it could easily be the longest lasting piece In my opinion; also it is obvious to me even the meticulously careful scrutinizing and curious individuals that for the sleeker magnetic look that reduced its overall bulkiness it delivers a (difficult to gauge) measurable load and resistance fit even for beyond the casual use and regular workout routines - it just would really stand out after I point out how good it is resistance load wise for the money and the size and just in general. Looks good, the back rubber cap does come off if not use correctly, easily assemble but not perfectly invulnerable. I recommend trying out the unit at the show room or consider it a great budget addition that may be an opportunity worth experimenting with for the money to see if it fits you.

Came With Broken Part

I recently bought this and the cup holder was broke. I can't use the machine because it uses the cup holder to keep the machine from moving towards me! Frustrating, can't even use my new machine.

Row Seat, Glide Good, But Monitor/meter Is Cheap.

The control panel/fitness meter is made very cheap...within 3 weeks, a few of the sensor wires and meter plate were loose and washer fell off. We have a service call in already for a replacement. It is also difficult to clear one workout from an upcoming despite following the instructions to press the button and hold it for two seconds.

Quiet, Good Workout

Quiet, portable, easy to move. No way to get the odometer set to kilometres, that I see, anyway. The miles seem to come slowly, compared to other rowers, but it is a great workout. I usually row while watching a hockey game.

Didn’t Last 2 Days!

It did not last 2 days before it broke. The cord unraveled or something happened to it internally and now the equipment is locked up and will not row. A total waste of money and time! Absolutely no support from Dick’s or the manufacturer.
