Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as nails!! I use this during long hot days in the field. I usually get 48 hours for ice water. I accidentally left it on the top of my work truck and drove away. The jug fell off at highway speeds on to concrete and survived with a few dings and a lost vent plug. I'm pretty impressed!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed. I know it's only advertised to stay cold for 13 hours, but come on. I used it for ice water in the house. The cold water barely lasted 24 hours... In the house. Maybe it should be lined like the Ozark or Yeti cups t help retain the cold longer. Durable and such, but sucks for holding the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this jug I use it daily for my 12 hour job and does a great job. I bought it mainly because of the latches on the lid to keep it airtight and leak proof and it does a really good job of that. My only complaint that I have about it is the spigot is starting to drip at the end when I release it more and more so I would like to take it apart and clean it but I didn't keep the instructions cuz it seems so easy but now I can't figure out how to take the spigot apart to clean up properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had high expectations. Unfortunately... I did a fair bit of online research and in store comparisons before setting my mind on Stanley's Adventure Water Jug. From the reviews, the company specs and what I had seen from other manufacturers, this was the Water Jug for me. It had everything I wanted; Rugged, kept ice for days etc.... So I went to Cabela's and bought one. As soon as I got home, I washed it in order to start using to keep cold water on the counter outside the fridge. Once it was clean and thoroughly rinsed, I filled it with cold water and closed the lid. I noticed right away that one of the latches was kind of loose. So I unlatched the lid, spun it a little to make sure that the seal was well positioned and latched the lid on again. It seemed like all was well until I decided to tip the jug in order to test it's spill proof feature. I was shocked. I saw videos on Youtube that made this thing out to be "the best water jug on the planet". Well...not even close. It leaked big time. So thinking that maybe I did something wrong, I unlatched the lid and tried again. It seemed to be good on the second try, so I tipped it back up to try and carry it. That went well so I tipped it again to make sure it wouldn't leak...but it did. I brought the whole thing to the kitchen table so that I could have a better look in better light. I noticed that the lid was slightly warped. Part of the lid seemed to touch hard plastic to the rest of the jug, and the closest latch would be loose. So the next day I went back to Cabela's to exchange it. But I examined all of the other 7 they had in stock before doing so. I noticed that they were all the same. It seems that this is a design flaw. The lid is too weak and the latches seem to warp the lid after a period of time. I had also bought the Adventure Vacuum Crock. I wish Stanley would have designed the lid for the Jug the same way they did for the crock. It would have been a killer product. Sadly I returned both items to Cabela's. I would have loved to keep the Crock Pot, but I didn't want to take a chance there. Sorry Stanley, I wish it could have worked out... H.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from leak! Bought this last year and after a month it started leaking around the spout. Everything is tight on it. For some reason just leaks, even with a new washer on it. Now it's just sitting in my attic collecting dust. I work outside and need a reliable water cooler for the hot days! Was very dissapointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12+ Hours and 110° on the Rogue river I wanted to spend the summer using the product for I wrote a review, but after this last weeks adventure I had to post something. The Adventure Water Jug has been my go to for bringing water on some great adventures around the PacNW. I just put the jug to a great test, 12 hours rafting on the Rogue River in southern Oregon. It was 110° out so I filled the jug with ice and water before leaving. Half way through the trip our boat had finished off most the water, but the ice was still in the cooler, so I just refilled the jug with more water to finish out the rest of the day. By the end of the day we still had plenty of ice, so we made a giant jug of margaritas. I would have never done this with a normal water jug, but since you can take this jug a part cleaning could not be easier. Outside of that weekend adventure the jug has been great for the car on road trips and as a camp site water jug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ice all weekend I've taking this for two-night camping trips twice now, and both times, have dumped out leftover ice as we pack up on the third day. I fill it to the top with a bag of cocktail ice before we drive to camp and then fill it with water at the campsite. One trip, I refilled it with the not-too-cold water from the spigot at the campsite at least 4 or 5 times, and even that couldn't melt off a full bag of ice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Water Jug Great product! I've only had a few times to use so far, but it's been very reliable on my trips to the beach, camping, etc.
