St. Croix Bass X Spinning Rod (2024) - Very Nice Fishing Rod

I purchased the rod to go with my Bass-X 6'6" MH baitcast rod. It is a joy to use, light and handles the fish I've caught well, including gills, crappie and LM Bass. It even worked on a two pound or so channel cat. I've sworn by and at St. Croix rods for over 30 years so on any given day my review might change but over all, I'd recommend it and not look back.

Nice And Lightweight

It casts good but not like a micro guide, for the price it’s a great carbon rod. I mainly use it for jerkbaits but I’m able to throw up to 1oz swim baits with it too.
