[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to upgrade/replace my 6mm cord which was tied in a loop with a double fisherman. I use the cord mainly to autoblock rappels, occasionally as a prussik. I'm also not too ashamed to admit that I occasionally use it as a step on sport routes to cheat through a move. I wanted something a little longer for klemheist hitches, less bulky (sewn vs tied) and stronger. This was perfect. I got the longer length so that I would have plenty to wrap around for more secure friction hitches and to make sure I could continue to step into it to cheat through sections of climbs. The increased strength gives me more options for the material if needed. The longer length means I have to make slightly more wraps as an autoblock on my leg loop to prevent it from hitting my rappel device but this might be the perfect motivation to extend my rappel device like I should have been doing anyways. Regardless, without rappel extension, it still allows a pretty smooth movement with the extra wraps. And the flat material makes the klemheist much nicer.
