It’s A Tag Line!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s lightweight but large diameter enough that it connects to my lead rope well. Fits in my rappel device (petzl reverso) and works well as a grab and go emergency backup for alpine routes. I haven’t put it to the test much yet so can’t speak for durability but it’s strong, light and one of the cheaper static lines I’ve been able to find.

Reliable, Handles Well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for rapping on multi pitch read lines whenever clean pulls are available. Lighter than a second rope but the 8mm is heavy enough not to snag or kink as much as some of the 6mm or 7mm taglines out there. Sterling ropes are always well made and this seems to handle nice and isn’t too heavy. At 8mm you can do some hauling if need be too. If weight is an issue check out the 7mm tagline from Sterling.
