Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this Holes were drilled on the wrong side of the table and when the metal clamps we're put in they were stripped. Poorly built poorly put together. A complete waste of money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money No one told me that this had to be fully assembled, with a torque driver. When we went to move it, the screws completely broke way from the compressed board table. Yes, it is not slate, but compressed board! This is a waste of money and a piece of junk!! Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this table One star because they don't allow zero. Poorly made with poor materials. I would consider purchasing another better model, but don't waste your money on this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell apart! Assembly wasn’t bad, but the second day we used the table, screws started falling out of the particle board! There’s no way I could return it because it was so bulky and heavy and I’d have to disassemble it to move it. So I had to epoxy the holes and put the screws back in through the epoxy. Hoping it will hold. It’s only been a few days so we will see! This was from Santa so I really hope it lasts!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good table at a reasonable price. This is a good table if assembled properly. There are twelve brackets of three different designs and thicknesses that get fastened to the underside of the table to which the legs are bolted in various ways. All the brackets are supposed to be fastened to the half inch thick table with 7/16th #8 sheet metal screws. Unfortunately the screws have a very long taper and only about the last 1/4 inch of the threads really grabs the particle board table material. When the screw first passes through a bracket about 1/16 thick you're reduced to about 3/16 of an inch of thread fully engaged. No wonder they strip so easily using a power drill to put them in. In those cases with the 1/16 thick brackets (8 of the 12) I replaced the supplied screws with 1/2 inch #10 from the local hardware store. On the remaining 4 brackets which were quite thin I put a washer under the screw head. The #10 screws had much less taper compared to the ones that come with the table. The result was much greater thread engagement both in terms of length and diameter. I also pre drilled the screw holes with a 3/32 drill to a depth of 7/16ths using a depth collar on the drill to avoid going through the top of the table. The only place I used the supplied #8 screws was for the edge lip which is basically a cosmetic feature with no significant loading. The perimeter of the cardboard shipping container is lined with particle board similar to the table but unpainted. Use a piece of it to install a few test screws to determine a proper torque setting for your drill if you power drive the screws. It's very easy to over torque any screw in the top material unless you put them in by hand. The only other glitch is driving 4 self tapping 8-32 screws into the inner legs. The holes stamped into the legs are too small and starting the screws by hand just about impossible. Threading the holes first with an 8-32 tap solved that problem but that may not be a tool many buyers would have. Overall I think it's a pretty good table but the assembly more of a challenge than expected. The manufacturer could have done better with the fasteners going into the chip board but other than that it is a decent product at a decent price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk This table is junk. The screws that hold the legs on strip out and fall out. The surface of mine was also chipped out of the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dick's usually sells good stuff. I purchased this table for my son for Christmas 2017. I wish I would've spent more money and upgrade to the better table. But if you did the same as me and make the mistake and do buy it. which I advise against!!! My advise is if you buy this table is..... buy you a tube of liquid nail or some type of adhesive to use!! Use the adhesive on every plate you mount to the bottom of table. The screws pull out of the bottom of table very easy.
