Stink

I purchased this about 3 months ago and it reeks of BO - its trapped in the under arm spandex panels. Have tried to kill the bacteria several times to no avail. I used it for long winter walks, not even super high sweat events, just low level sweat. Super bummed because I like the weight, look, breathability and other features (although I wish the hood had a bit less gapping when being worn facing the wind). I've had a similar Orvis PRO light insulated jacket for 5 years (wore through the elbows I used it so much) with no stink. I've even worn that Orvis coat as a mid weight layer under my Stio Environ shell on super cold resort tele days and have soaked it in sweat - it had some minor BO early but I'd spray pits with a hockey gear de-odorize that stopped any further issues. No such luck with the Fernos. - I haven't had a synthetic garment smell like this since the 90s ( I have other Stio synthetics with no smell). Will be returning.

Great Warm And Lightweight Jacket

Very warm and lightweight. Hood is perfect. Fit is great with room for baselayers. My go to jacket for morning walks. Wore it today in 15 degree windchill temp at it was just right.

Perfect

This coat is perfect for those in between days. Soft and stretchy. I love it

Love The Fernos!

Great light to mid-weight hooded jacket. Perfect for layering and when the weather is a bit unpredictable.

Perfect For The Great Lakes!

We get all kinds of cold wet weather in the Great Lakes and your always reaching for a jacket. The Fernos hooded jacket works perfectly across all the different kinds of winter we get. It’s never too cold or too hot.

Fernos

Love this jacket. Soft, flexi material that moves with you.

Our Marina

I buy Stio gear for our whole crew at the Marina, Dock Hands, Sales Guys, Techs, and managers. I like to give them gear they will use and like to wear. We struggle with where/how to logo the pieces. If we stich the logo, we ruin the water proof. I like to screen print, but with multi layers, its hard to get the print perfect because they have to apply two coats. . Please help me with this, and I'll buy more gear. .

Awesome Insulation

I bought this jacket to replace a well worn Patagonia micro puff that was my everyday, work, backcountry touring, winter fat biking, alpine skiing, etc. I needed a hood and an outside chest pocket for cell phone. This coat fits the bill. I miss my lost micro puff but Stio will be my go to. This is my 3rd piece of Stio gear and all of it has met my expectations which are super high. I don’t buy gear unless it checks all the boxes. The only thing I would change is make the hood non-helmet compatible so that it is smaller.

My Fernos Jacket Will Be Worn Next Season.

Weight, length, zippers-zipper pockets, hood, rain resistant -has all the features I was looking for. Great for windy, cooler days, colder ones when you're layered up -I'm a XC and Track & Field Coach -a lot of days outside in the weather, the FERNOS jacket will make it so much more fun

Favorite Jacket!

I got this jacket in the jam color early in the winter. At first I wasn’t sure how much I would wear It being a light weight layer and the color was a little out of my wheelhouse — as It turns out I’ve worn It more than any jacket I own and love the color! I’ve run in It when It’s super cold, brought It as a layer alpine skiing, traveled in It because I can pack It away easily, and Nordic skied when It’s been particularly frosty. It’s been one of the best additions to my outdoor gear in the past couple years and I foresee myself wearing It continually into the spring while the nights are still cold.

Ambassador Andy

The little time I have used it…it’s a very light mid-layer…. . much Lighter than fleece . I need another season to totally evaluate the product…. so far so good

Absolutely Love It. Favorite Jacket

Absolutely love it. Favorite jacket I’ve ever owned

My Favorite Jacket

I love this jacket, period. Perfect weight and fit. I really like the stretch under the arms and side.

Fee Is Insl Jacket

Light, warm with hood and zipper for my cell phone . What else could I ask for?

Disappointed

I bought two of these jackets. One for my wife and one for my wife. The fit and material look and feel good. My disappointment is in the lack of warmth. I think the insulation qualities are overstated. The jacket is nothing more than an over priced wind breaker.
