Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful firearm I have owned this Stoeger for about six months now. Without fail, I have put over 2000 shells through this gun. Being my first shotgun, and an over and under at that, I was not looking for such a good gun. Many things could be better, the action could be slicker, the chokes could be better, it could be prettier, but I would HIGHLY recommend this shotgun for anyone looking for a gun that is usable and fun. This is a kind of shotgun that wants to shoot. It is not going to win a gun show, but it flat out shoots. I have had many hours of fun on the sporting clays range hitting clays all the way out to 80 yards. With proper care and maintenance, this shotgun could be a useful and fun tool. Cheers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from greta gun for the money!! Recently purchased the fts condor at dicks. the gun was heavier of the guns within that price point which really helps with recoil. Most Turkish made over under shotguns are great guns but very light so after a hundred clays they begin to really beat you up. The condor has run perfectly so far- over 500 rounds. Fit and finish isn't quite as good as Tristar but is fair. Maybe the only downside of this gun is that it may not last a lifetime, only a 5year warranty which at that point if you shoot a lot the gun could be all used up at the 5 year mark. Worth the money if you ask me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't be fooled by the price. This is my second Stoeger, the first being the Competition Condor. With both my Stoeger's, I have run thousands of rounds through them without a hitch. Nice balance, locks up tight, terrific target gun. Best of all, I have routinely embarrassed many a Browning, Beretta, Franchi shooter at the skeet, trap, and sporting clays range with my Stoeger. Do NOT be fooled into "drinking the kool-aid" of those previous named guns. You do not need to spend thousands of dollars on a "nice" gun to be competitive. The Stoeger is as nice as it gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shotgun at a great price I was looking for a lower priced O/U shotgun and considered new and used firearms. After shopping for about a year and attending shows i decided on Stoeger's FTS. It has nicer wood, longer barrels and better fit and finish than the field grade Condor. It does not have the adjustable comb and some of the other frills that the Condor Competition sports but it seems to have a good balance of quality and price. I shot mine for the first time this weekend. Only a hundred rounds so far but it functioned flawlessly and accurately. The weight and balance are great for me and the 28" barrels are plenty accurate. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is that it does not have selctable barrels and the safety automatically engages every time you load the gun. The guys at the range couldn't believe the price that i paid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome!!!!! Bought in a hurry for a last minute pheasant hunt. Did not want to take my high-dollar Beretta out in the bad weather. Shot WD40 into action mechanics and worked the business out of it. Loosened up well. Could not be any happier with my purchase. The only ones who got more birds shot semi-autos. Only changes I would wish for would be for it to be slightly lighter and have complete set of chokes. NO COMPLAINTS about this purchase. Did find it for $50 cheaper at Cabela(s) AFTER I had purchased it at Dicks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So so Severely disappointed. This gun would only fire out the main bore 75% of the time. That is ridiculous. Upon inspection of the round, it would lightly strike the primer. Also of note, this was using several different brands of ammo. The top barrel also was inconsistent on discharing the round but not as bad as the bottom barrel. AVOID as sales are final and you are stuck with this lump. To be fair, it was sent back to Stoeger to fix, but a gun brand new out of the box should fire every time the trigger is pulled. Period

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for average user I have it almost 6 years and probably 6-7K rounds through it. Its well served the money I paid for it ($400). I spent some time to fix certain issues: 1. Non firing upper barrel. 2. Broken firing pings. 3. Loosen up side ribs. 4. Deadlocked safety. Everything easy to fix if you have spare 1-2 hrs per week, but this is your time which is money. Would I buy it again? No. Here is why: 1. Missing barrel selector results in overheating bottom barrel at clay range, the result - loosen side ribs and distorted line of sight. 2. Very poor trigger group elements finish. The points of contacts must be sanded and polished asap. 3. Inertia trigger - sometimes I had FTF on light loads. My next OU - mechanical trigger ONLY. 4. Heavy for hunting, but not that heavy for case of target shells - recoil absorption leaves to be desired. 5. Go to Dicks, look into the barrels bores, then compare with Franchi nearby or even Stevens. Big difference. 6. Barrels alignment. Did benchrest shooting slugs from 50yrd - upper barrels shots at point of aim, bottom shots lower at 5-6 inches. Not a big deal for most clays stations or hunting close-up, but issue for everything else. IMHO for this budget better to buy decent quality american autoloader. IF OU is priority - add $200-300 and buy CZ. Just my 2c.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute junk! First time out with gun the buttstock splintered and fragmented from the recoil. I was shooting Remington American clay 12ga, a round with very little recoil. Top barrel light strikes and misfires a lot. Dicks was no help with these problems. Attempting to work with manufacturer now.
