Who Planned A Backyard Party And Forgot Horseshoes

As we set up for party at my sister's I realized we forgot our horseshoe set 😳 I love that Dicks is close by and in the clutch always has what we need! This set is regulation, so good and sturdy. Would have gotten 5 stars but case is awkward and bends.

Croquet Set

I purchased the six piece croquet set for a family barbecue. I would not recommend the set. The shafts for the mallets are made of poor wood quality as well as a poor design instead of the shaft screwing into the mallet is Preston to mallet broke before we even finish the first game.

Horseshoe Set Is Great

We've been using the horseshoes and stakes and they are both high quality items, professional grade. The shoes are blue(2) and grey(2), with a coating that prevents rust while taking abuse. The "carry case" is a joke. It is too flimsy to carry anything and ours broke after a couple of uses. But, it's a good set.

Close Enough In Horshoes

Bought this to use on the beach w/college seniors in town for an Ethics Symposium. Most of these kids had never played horseshoes but had heard the phrase “close enough is only good in horseshoes & grenades”.
