I bought this 2/2022 and was very excited to use it, until I did. It wouldn’t drill a hole without stopping a 2-3 times per hole. The ice was about 11”. Drilled about 8 holes and the battery was dead. We’ll I figured I’d charge the battery again and try another time. Went out again and same thing. Called Strikemaster and they said there was a recall in the blades and sent me some new ones out. Go the new blades and still the same problem. Very frustrating, I wish they would return it. In the last five years I never had a problem with my hand auger with a drill adapter. Figured I would upgrade to something better, what a mistake.
