Good for starters or just playing for fun, however if you are going into a season expecting to play this is quite a heavy stick. It got me through 1 season but as soon as I switched to the 6ft indeterminate stick I instantly saw improvements. This stick would also be really good if you were using it to train or just use in practice. Over all good stick for 1 year but if you're being competitive it's probably better to save up for the 6ft.
