I bought this stick for my 6 year old son who started playing lacrosse this season and I'm glad I did. It's designed for kids in their first few years of the sport, and I honestly believe it accelerated his learning the basics of the game.

Great Stick
My son started playing LAX a year ago, with a basic STX setup. Since then he has developed quite a bit, and now plays for a 10U club team. I had no idea how much his old stick was really hindering his ability. The quality of this stick out of the box is noticeable. The head is well made and the string job is spot on. Excellent pocket and no break in period. Highly recommend, especially at this price point.

Great Stick!
Great light weight stick to start with! It's much better then the metal silver sticks. These are lighter and easier to maneuver for a beginner and intermediate.

Best Beginner Lax Stick
Yes, this stick is more expensive than its competitors (mostly STX beginner sticks, which are not bad, IMO httphs://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/stx-stallion-starter-200-on-stallion-6000-complete-attack-lacrosse-stick-17stxmstllnstrtrnlxs/17stxmstllnstrtrnlxs). The benefits of this stick is the lighter feel, and fantastic head that likely will not need to be restrung. I have an older STX stick and the pocket seems to deteriorate. I believe the String King will last until my son is old enough to go to 10U. If you can afford it, this stick will get your kid started right, and will likely save money in the long run if you have another kid who will use it or if you resell it.

Awesome Stick, But Cheaper In Store.
Bought this online for store pick up and was surprised to see a $69.99 tag on it. The stick is great, but $10 cheaper in store. Hopefully I can get it price matched.
