Great Stick For Beginners

I bought this stick for my 6 year old son who started playing lacrosse this season and I'm glad I did. It's designed for kids in their first few years of the sport, and I honestly believe it accelerated his learning the basics of the game.

Great Stick

My son started playing LAX a year ago, with a basic STX setup. Since then he has developed quite a bit, and now plays for a 10U club team. I had no idea how much his old stick was really hindering his ability. The quality of this stick out of the box is noticeable. The head is well made and the string job is spot on. Excellent pocket and no break in period. Highly recommend, especially at this price point.

Great Stick!

Great light weight stick to start with! It's much better then the metal silver sticks. These are lighter and easier to maneuver for a beginner and intermediate.

Best Beginner Lax Stick

Yes, this stick is more expensive than its competitors (mostly STX beginner sticks, which are not bad, IMO httphs://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/stx-stallion-starter-200-on-stallion-6000-complete-attack-lacrosse-stick-17stxmstllnstrtrnlxs/17stxmstllnstrtrnlxs). The benefits of this stick is the lighter feel, and fantastic head that likely will not need to be restrung. I have an older STX stick and the pocket seems to deteriorate. I believe the String King will last until my son is old enough to go to 10U. If you can afford it, this stick will get your kid started right, and will likely save money in the long run if you have another kid who will use it or if you resell it.

Awesome Stick, But Cheaper In Store.

Bought this online for store pick up and was surprised to see a $69.99 tag on it. The stick is great, but $10 cheaper in store. Hopefully I can get it price matched.

Great Stick For Beginners!

Easy to scoop and it’s kightwe which is great for my 6 yr old son!

The Best Complete Stick!

Bought my 9 year old this stick! Great pocket, lightweight, and well rounded. Absolutely worth the extra $ as it will last and save you from purchasing another stick!! Great, great buy!!

Buy This For Kids New To The Game

Picked this up last week and highly recommend. For my first son I picked up the cheapest junior stick I could find, the mesh was hard, there was no pocket and it threw straight down. The Stringking jr. was great right out of the box. I threw against a rebounder at the store and it threw true, pocket felt like it was already broken it just a nice set up. When I took it home both the kids tried it out and found similar great results. I would say this, it is tempting to just buy the "cheap" stick in case your son decides he doesn't like lacrosse but it may just be they don't like lacrosse because you purchased them the cheap stick and the experience is frustrating. I would say spend the extra $20 on this for your junior player.

Fantastic Youth Lacrosse Stick!

I have been saying for years that manufacturers need to make a youth lacrosse stick for kids under 10 that can be payed with off the shelf. This stick is amazing and will help youth players immediately. Other "complete sticks" being sold are a fraud. I coach youth lacrosse and I cant tell you how many times a parent has bought a different stick off the shelf only for it to be unusable. The pockets are terrible and there is nothing more important than a good pocket to a youth player just learning the game. This stick finally fills that need and will help kids improve from the moment they pick it up.
