In my opinion, the Mark 2A is not only Stringking’s best head but the best head on the market. With countless stringing holes you are guaranteed to find a pocket that you love playing with. That being said, the mid and low pockets on ustring.com for the Mark 2A might be the best pockets I’ve used over my entire career. As “the stringer” for the Tufts Men’s Lacrosse team for several years, many players used this head and raved about how much they liked it. Many of our top players used the Mark 2A, including attackman, middies, and even one of our LSM’s. Working as a coach now, my weapon of choice is the Mark 2A with Type 4s. This combination provides superior ball feel and control, without sacrificing accuracy or shot speed.
