Great head but cannot stand up to the pounding. It turns to rubber during the heat and the frame warps/bends due to the pounding of driving the head on low shots . Can only get about 6 months out of it. Its good for beginner/immediate goalies and or younger goalies.

Definitely Not A $60 String Job
I’ve generally been an STX guy for my whole life, but I was interested in trying out something new. The head was priced similarly to the STX Eclipse unstrung, but I was intrigued by the $150 price tag of the strung head. I figured it might be something special to come factory strung with a custom strung price tag. The top string seems unlikely to last a full season and the shooting strings are pretty lazily strung across the top part of the head. The mesh crests a nice deep pocket, which is nice, but this isn’t really anything special compared to a standard hard mesh.
