I bought this as a replacement to my OG Eclipse I had for five years. The head is a lot stiffer compared to the original, which works well for stopping the crease crankers of the world. I have always been a fan of the Outlet shaft and the stick is very light overall. I like the “sandpaper” grip on the shaft, but with gloves on and 90 degree heat, it doesn’t work as well as old fashion tape to stop your hands from slipping. The throat is a little more chunky and takes some getting use to in terms of top-hand placement and grip. If you are purchasing this as a “complete stick”, do yourself a favor and rip out the old mesh and replace it with some Grizzly 2S. The factory string job and mesh were horrible. It looked like they formed the pocket using a 15 pound bowling ball. No channel, way too deep, too much whip, and it threw like garbage. It’s a solid stick for all levels of play, but again, depending on how you grip the throat of the head hold, it might be too big for smaller/younger keepers.
