My son doesn’t like to wear the shoulder protectors attached to the chest protector that cover his upper arms, so it was important to get the longer elbow pads. Since wearing this model, his bruises are less on his upper arms. He’s 13, and 5’3” /135 pounds. They are snug on his arms. May only get one season out of them.

My kids have used these for years, just keep buying the newer model and next size. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Solid construction, flexible, and easy to clean.
