Great for the money
My son was interested in lacrosse from watching clips on YouTube and wanted to go out and purchase expensive lacrosse gear. After coming across these mini sticks, we figured it was a good introduction to the sport without spending a large amount of money up front. And good thing we went this direction. The sticks are pretty well made. I know nothing about lacrosse so I can't speak for how well these compare to more expensive sticks. However, we did have a few nights of fun, throwing the ball back and forth across the cul-de-sac. It's good fun at a reasonable price and a good intro to the sport.

Fits standard size ball, so players can graduate to team play with same stick!
Our program used the fiddle sticks for a while, but found our players had to buy a regulation stick when they moved to first grade and team play. We LOVE that these STX sticks fit a regulation sized ball, so players can move right up to team play. Would prefer if they came in a boys and a girls model so the girls could use theirs in games, too.

Mini Lacrosse Sticks
These are great intro to learning lacrosse and are nice to have around. By having these my son had developed a further interest in lacrosse and we will probably upgrade for league playing. But spending this amount to find out if he would like the game was well worth it.

Handles well for both adults and youth
We bought 4 sticks just for family practice around the yard. I’m a pretty harsh critic of products, I can’t find a fault in these. Great product for a reasonable price.

Misleading description
In the description is specifically states "Durable metal handle" which is not the case. Both sticks have plastic handles. Needless to say I was disappointed as plastic handles are not going to last long around our backyard.Will be returning to store for a more durable fiddlestick.

Bought these for my son since he wants to play lacrosse in the spring. Best choice since it has help improve his confidence and control. He is excited to use them whenever the weather allows us too.

Spend the money on these metal shafts over the plastic
These have the nicer metal shaft and the Super Power/Proton Power style head which is nearly identical to the real thing. The plastic shafts explode after they get hit with something once. These metal ones are surprisingly durable. Due to the head design on these I think these help with teaching throwing mechanics to young kids where as the heads on the plastic shaft model are nothing like the real thing and as a result take a different throwing motion to find the right release point.

Unfortunate
While the idea of an inexpensive starter set sounded great, the reality is these sticks are made of soft plastic. My 6&7 year old girls almost broke them in the first 10 minutes. Lucky Dicks allowed me to return them (thank you!) and I purchased actual sticks for them to use and they have been having a blast with them ever since.these might be appropriate for even younger children.
