Good Braided Line

Long casts and the dark green is virtually invisible. I'm like 50/50 with braid however due to wind knots. Braid can be terrible when throwing plugs on even a mildly windy day. If I know its going to be windy, I'll fish mono.

832 Is The Best

I now have Suffix 832 braid on 5 reels. Strong and smooth casting. Bit of the learning curve to attaching mono leader to braid because of how smooth this braid is but I finally got it down. Albright knot held best for me after trying a few.

Wouldn't Recommend For Casting Reels

I wouldn't recommend anything less than 30 lb for casting reels, smaller diameter will cut into the line on the spool.

Sufix braid is very reasonably priced, with great knot strength that has never failed me. It performs as well as many higher priced brands of braided line. I would also suggest giving their fluorocarbon a try too!
