Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome price. I searched everywhere for a pink kayak, and Dicks sporting goods had the best price and even with them delivering it to my house. It is awesome and I couldn't be more pleased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a starter Kayak Keep in mind this isn't a $1000 kayak. It's a great starter or second kayak to keep around for guests. It's pretty stable and not too heavy. It's not fast, but if you're looking for a decently priced starter kayak, this is a good choice. I personally don't like it at all because I find it too wide, but my husband loves it and paddled over 10 miles per trip more than once over the past summer on Lake Ontario. He might upgrade to a touring kayak this summer, but we'll keep this one around anyway for guests to use. I wouldn't beach it, but it's stable enough that you shouldn't have an issue taking it out a little bit into the water to get into/out of it. My husband used his at least 20 times last summer doing this and didn't dump it once-including a few times in reasonable swells.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plz include paddles The thing was great and all once you put it in the lake. But this was our beginner boat and we didn't have paddles. Thats the only con for beginners. Overall this was the best kayak for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I consider this a "Best Buy!" Very nice, low price entry level kayak. I had a sit on kayak that made my back hurt like crazy, I got into this one and was pleasently surprised by the comfort level and just how nice the unit handeled and tracked, this is a very nice low end kayak that seems like it will last for years with the proper care.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE! This was my first kayak. extremely unexperienced kayaker. I lived close to lakes my whole life and wanted one forever so I finally bought one. this kayak feel extremely safe hard to tip over and is priced well. The kayak does not feel cheap. I own a jeep and it was easy to strap on top by myself, kind of heavy but I could do it my self.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality for the Price Have used this kayak about 30 or 40 times over the summer in lakes, rivers, and streams. It is the perfect length in that it is very stable and comfortable to sit in. It is light enough that one person can carry it and load it (which is extremely helpful). It is very durable and doesn't feel cheaply made. The only complaint I would have is about the positioning of the cargo box. It is kind of hard to reach when you're sitting in the kayak. But, it can be done and is great for holding fishing accessories. With a few small add ons (additional bungees on front and rod holder), this kayak has become amazing for exploring the outdoors and fishing in the warmer months.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kayak I got this kayak as a gift back in June but was only able to use it for the first time the other day (September). My extended family have an array for kayaks including a few pelicans, a really expensve blow-up kayak, and cheap blow-up kayak, and my uncle borrowed a really nice ocean-going kayak.Compared to the Pelicans I'm used to, this had a cup holder which was great for my water bottle. The bottom is flat which was great for the spots on West Canada Creek that are very very shallow. And did I mention its great that a beer/soda can will stand up on the floor of the kayak without a problem? Unlike the other kayaks which all had rounded bottoms. The seat was more comfortable than the Pelicans' but not as much as the blow ups. The thigh rests are great for when I want to drag my feet in the water.I haven't adjusted the foot petals yet and probably never will because I don't use them.I wish the coolers were in the front of the kayak because I'm not that flexible and can't reach it behind me. Not a big deal because we usually pull up alongside eachother to get eachothers' drinks. But I see why the weight is best in the back.Only used the one time so far but I'm really pleased with it.For the people who are using this to go down rapids... it's not meant for rapids. You need to buy a completely different type of kayak for that. Duh.With that being said, West Canada Creek does have some very shallow parts, some very rocky part and some rapid moving water at times. I would have no reservations using this kayak for any of those situations.
