Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major design flaw Overall the boat is nice. But there is a major design flaw. The transom fore and aft is set back. There is a lip that extends out where the two pieces of the hull come together. Because of that lip, it is impossible to drop a trolling motor straight down into the water on either end of the boat when using a standard trolling motor mount. Also, there is a metal mounting bracket on the stern but not one on the front where the trolling motor usually goes. So unless you crank the motor bracket really tight, the bracket will creep up the transom while in use. It's like someone designed this boat with minimal thought to actually putting a motor on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boat, small in size, big in features. I bought this boat about two months ago, rigged it like I saw in a few different YouTube videos, and couldn't be happier. I have a Coleman 2.6 4 stoke on the back, a Newport 36 pound thrust electric on the front, anchor set up, pole holders, Garmin Fish Finder/GPS and it still holds two full grown adults, took this boat out on a large lake and felt comfortable and safe. Boat performs well and rides waves very well. I have been very happy with this boat and strongly recommend this boat for anyone that wants to be able to fish remote locations or locations that you just cannot access in a large boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pond / small lake fishing boat Purchased on 20% off weekend. This boat is light enough, and the weight is evenly distributed when 2 people pick up and middle bars. I use a 40 lb Minn Kota and have no problems. It's made for and fits perfectly in back of a pickup truck. I fish with my 12 year old son. 10 feet would be ideal, 8 feet is tight with 2 people and gear/cooler/battery ect. The seats are comfortable but plan to upgrade to cushion seats next year. You can use the same base. They slide nicely to move in boat. Standing is not a problem. The flat top of sides are nice to place things while fishing. Why they promote cup holders is crazy, they are not. You could use a small hp engine as well, that cost x2 the cost of boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boat. I have had this model boat for over 16 years and it's still just as good as day one. I have a 30 lb trolling motor and it pushes it just fine. A more powerful one would be better if you don't mind the price of the higher battery. You can put a 2.5 or 3.5 motor also. I put large eyelets with ropes attached on the front and pull it up into my Dakota with no problem. I take it out alone when I want to and feel totally safe. Check prices though because they differ greatly . I believe Dicks has the lowest I have seen and if you talk nice they may toss in a paddle. (ok maybe not.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Fishing Rig Ive owned one of these for over 10 years and have caught redfish and speckled trout in water to shallow to normally get a boat into the back canals off the intercoastal waterway in Mayport, FL. I have a 32lb thrust Minn-Kota and a six horse Johnson, the trolling motor does the job but six horses is not enough to plane the boat and so I've learned to pretty much start fishing right at the ramp and have found that fish are hungry near by. So many anglers get in their flashy boats just to blast off when we are reeling em in right in the area. This boat will make you a better fisherman by allowing access that would normally be passed by. I now have a 15 hp motor that I'm looking to put on a new rig, we'll see how that planning situation is now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size My husband bought this boat and he LOVE It. It is Great for fishing in ponds and he plans to use it in the Sloughs in a nearby river. He bought a old Seadoo Trailer and uses it to haul it around. He is Disabled and can now load and unload this Boat without any trouble unlike his larger Boat. He would recommend for anyone Loving to fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic boat. This is a in expensive and great boat. I fish in mine 3to 4 x's a week. I trailer it i use it at night on the water with marine night time boat lights and all day on week ends. Ihave motor and 1 battery. I also have a back up battery since I use mine so much. I have a collapsible oar and net and I take my kids and dog on it. It's not as shaky as the v hull boats that I used to rent. I have a mini collapsible anchor that works really good. My friend caught a pike on it so you can catch big fish too. Do know that you will have to empty it if you keep it out in the rain. I am a woman and do it by myself. The only thing I wish was different was that it was a three seater. Since I use my boat a lot people always comment on it. Now there are 8 at the lake. 1 man put it right into the back of his pickup. In the winter I put it in my basement to store it. Easy to wash. Hasn't stained yet.
