Perfect Lil Boat

My wife bought us one of these for my birthday in 2018. We finally got to try it out on Benbrook Lake. I put a 30lb Watersnake Motor on the back, bought a collapsible anchor, 5 foot oars and got some floating seat cushions. Even on a windy day, rough water, I didn't think we were going to tip. We only took on maybe half a gallon of water going straight into a wave from another boat intersecting us. I dropped my anchor when we stopped. We'd fish for a few minutes and go again. No issues in 2 foot waves from the wind and the big bass boats. It even made it onto the beach fine when my battery died and we didn't want to paddle the extra 200 yards back to the boat ramp. A lot more stable when I stood up vs a V Hull. Would I recommend? Definitely. It's great for anyone that just wants putt around, go exploring, fish, take their dog out, etc. Would I do anything different? I might want better seats later. Would I take it on Lake Ontario? No. It's for small lakes, tanks, swamps, etc. I don't see it doing so well going over Niagara Falls. Our next adventure is going to be exploring all of the little coves and so forth around the lake.

I And My Buddy Used This Boat All Summer Long

This boat never let us down! it is constructed well and the "little things" like space to put cooler, drinks, and tackle boxes and poles seemed to be actually thought out, because we would be comfortable all day long! We even gave it a name, and Cecilia stayed in my van all Summer long and was available on a moments notice. Easy to get in and out of the van and water, and relatively light. It's one of the best purchases I have ever made!

Great Boat, Small In Size, Big In Features.

I bought this boat about two months ago, rigged it like I saw in a few different YouTube videos, and couldn't be happier. I have a Coleman 2.6 4 stoke on the back, a Newport 36 pound thrust electric on the front, anchor set up, pole holders, Garmin Fish Finder/GPS and it still holds two full grown adults, took this boat out on a large lake and felt comfortable and safe. Boat performs well and rides waves very well. I have been very happy with this boat and strongly recommend this boat for anyone that wants to be able to fish remote locations or locations that you just cannot access in a large boat.

Great Quality, Perfect Size!

Looked for a small boat for quite some time. So glad I bought my Sun Dolphin from Dicks. They price matched, great customer service. We're out on our boat every weekend, enjoying fishing from the water rather than on land.

Great Pond / Small Lake Fishing Boat

Purchased on 20% off weekend. This boat is light enough, and the weight is evenly distributed when 2 people pick up and middle bars. I use a 40 lb Minn Kota and have no problems. It's made for and fits perfectly in back of a pickup truck. I fish with my 12 year old son. 10 feet would be ideal, 8 feet is tight with 2 people and gear/cooler/battery ect. The seats are comfortable but plan to upgrade to cushion seats next year. You can use the same base. They slide nicely to move in boat. Standing is not a problem. The flat top of sides are nice to place things while fishing. Why they promote cup holders is crazy, they are not. You could use a small hp engine as well, that cost x2 the cost of boat.
