[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did...it's a compass, and works as it's supposed to. It points north. There is no adjustable declination, but that's ok for my purposes. It seems solidly built, and is a beautiful instrument overall. The bezel rotates fluidly, the inches and centimeters are accurate to the inch and centimeter, etc. Good buy.

A Good Standard Compass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Suunto A-10L is a good standard compass and does it's job well. It has all the features you need -- marching and orienting arrows, orienting lines, a rotating bezel, and measurements on either side. Do note that this version does not have adjustments for declination, you need to add or subtract your magnetic declination each time you want to make a measurement from map to field or vice versa. In my use, this was just fine, and the compass proved durable and reliable otherwise.
